Illness and Soul: A Systemic
Look at Physical and Psychological Dis-ease
A Workshop Using Bert Hellinger's Phenomenological
Approach
For physicians, patients, students and the lay public.
Through his lifelong integration of therapeutic experiences,
Bert Hellinger has discovered some unique connections between
the past and the present. Unresolved suffering and guilt are
passed on from generation to generation, without conscious
awareness of either the giving or the receiving of such burdens.
Such unresolved issues as an unexpected or premature death,
forgotten family members and injustices suffered or perpetrated
by members of the family all exert an influence throughout
the generations and impact us on a day to day basis as well.
This innovative workshop will explore how these events specifically
impact one's health and susceptibility to disease, resulting
in acute and chronic illnesses and repetitions of unexpected
deaths, accidents or loss. Working with illness from a systemic
perspective offers profound opportunities to understand individual
as well as family dynamics.
IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR ME?
Are you currently suffering from a chronic illness? Do certain
illnesses, diseases or accidents repeat themselves in your
family? Are you concerned about your child's physical or mental
health? Are you a medical practitioner looking for the psychological
and systemic dynamics influencing your patient's disease process?
If you answered yes to any of these questions this workshop
is for you.
Facilitator
Stephan
Hausner is a naturopathic physician and homeopath who has
been in private practice for 15 years. He met Bert Hellinger
in 1993 while at a holistic conference and since then has
facilitated workshops in this innovative phenomenological
approach in Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Argentina, Mexico
and the United States, and has published on the topic of dermatological
disease and its relationship to systemic family dynamics.
Dr. Hausner has the natural ability to expose himself to
a situation without intention or fear, then trusts a greater
force to see the next step. His insistence on acknowledging
"what is" as opposed to blindly accepting what is
said, is the fundamental principle on which he relies. Dr.
Hausner lives in Anger, Germany with his wife and 5 children.
